What will you be doing?

  • Perform Scientific tests of products

  • Accurately label and date product and record data

  • Communicate with the team clearly

  • Stacking and palletizing finished goods

 

What do you bring to the job?

  • HS diploma or GED

  • 3 months of QA experience

  • In lieu of experience education in food science/chemistry/microbiology/biology

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook

  • Experience recording data accurately and communicating clearly to the team

  • Ability to work independently managing your own schedule and workload effectively

  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to commit to full time hours and work overtime as required

Working Conditions

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. The employee will occasionally use chemicals and conditions can be moist to wet. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 40 pounds. While performing the responsibilities of the job the employee is consistently required to stand and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel. The employee is regularly required to walk reach with arms and hands climb or balance and to stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses and hearing protectors. The use of smocks and hairnets (and/or beard nets) is required while in the plant. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
