Aerospace Fabrication Shop Associate

Location: Spokane WA
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4×10 Schedule)
Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour (DOE)
Position Type: Temporary

Are you looking to gain experience in aerospace manufacturing with a company that values quality safety and teamwork? We are seeking a Manufacturing Support Associate to assist with a variety of production and finishing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Manufacturing experience is preferred but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Provide general support to assembly welding forming and machine operation teams.

• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality specifications.

• Perform finishing operations such as trimming sanding polishing drilling punching sizing and deburring using hand and power tools.

• Clean metal components using approved cleaning processes.

• Measure parts using calipers micrometers height gauges and other precision measuring equipment.

• Follow work instructions blueprints sketches and manufacturing documentation.

• Detect and report quality or process concerns.

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established safety procedures.

• Assist with training team members as needed.

Work closely with supervisors while learning manufacturing processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to read and follow written instructions and manufacturing sketches.

• Basic math skills.

• Ability to learn the use of machine tools and precision measuring instruments.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Ability to safely use personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in a manufacturing environment.
