Client Job Description SOLAMJP00000096 US – Machinist Level 1 1 Lifting 30lbs or less moderate machine operation
Pay rate: $29.50/hr
Shift: M-TR 5pm-3:30am
Assembles repairs and fabricates metal components by operating a CNC mill or lathe. Builds parts into sub-assemblies or complete units. Interprets blueprints and design sketches to verify correct dimensions and tolerance levels for finished products.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
May require completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the specialty area.
2 -4 years experience operating a CNC mill or lathe
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines; works under direct supervision.
Reports to a supervisor or manager; role typically does not require independent judgment.
Special Considerations:
Lifting generally does not exceed 30 lbs and is not highly repetitive.
Moderate exposure to machinery and potential chemical biological or physical risks.
Operation of powered industrial trucks is considered at least industrial-level and may be classified as heavy depending on additional exposures.
