Production Operator – Weekend Shift

Location: Spokane WA
Pay: $20.50/hour + $3.00/hour shift differential for Saturday and Sunday hours
Schedule: Thursday-Sunday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Operators to join our team. This position offers the potential to transition from a contract role to a direct hire opportunity based on business needs performance attendance and dependability.

In this role you will help produce high-quality products and services for our customers by setting up and operating production equipment while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and the Solstice Operating System.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Record and report production data.
  • Analyze production reports and data.
  • Perform equipment setup and changeovers.

Equipment You May Operate

  • 1500-Ton Rolling Mill
  • Circle Cutting Grob Saws
  • Vertical and Horizontal Bandsaws
  • Automated Drill Press
  • 3000-Ton Forge
  • Conventional Hot Ovens and Furnaces for Metal Heating
  • 100- and 150-Ton Presses
  • Refining Deep Tanks
  • Cu Plate Shear

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination motor skills and dexterity.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret calipers and blueprints.
  • Basic math skills including performing offset adjustments.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently to achieve daily production goals.

U.S. Person Requirement

  • A U.S. Permanent Resident; or
