Client Job Description SOLAMJP00000130 US –
Machine Operator – Level 1 Lifting 30lbs or less moderate machine operation
Pay rate: $20.50/hr Shift: Monday-Thursday – 5:00am- 3:30 pm. Responsible for setting up and operating production machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to ensure tasks are completed accurately according to specifications and within required timeframes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
May require completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the specialty area.
0–2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
Familiarity with standard concepts practices and procedures within the field.
Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines; works under direct supervision.
Reports to a supervisor or manager; role typically does not require independent judgment.
Special Considerations:
Lifting generally does not exceed 30 lbs and is not highly repetitive.
Moderate exposure to machinery and potential chemical biological or physical risks.
Operation of powered industrial trucks is considered at least industrial-level and may be classified as heavy depending on additional exposures.
