General Production Operator (Swing Shift)

We are seeking 3 General Production Operators to join our manufacturing team primarily supporting deburring wheel operations with additional responsibilities in spinning lathes and press brake operation as needed.

Position Details

Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Swing Shift
Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Schedule: Wednesday through Monday
Duration: Minimum 3-month assignment
 Expected Hours: 48 hours per week (required)

Compensation

Base Pay: $18.75/hour

Key Responsibilities

This role includes but is not limited to:

• Arriving on time and ready to work each scheduled shift
• Operating deburring wheels (primary responsibility)
• Assisting with spinning lathes and press brake equipment as needed
• Performing basic machine operation and general production labor
• Deburring cleaning and finishing parts
• Counting stacking and moving materials and finished goods
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment which may include light cleaning duties such as restrooms

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Standing for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent bending lifting and movement throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Working in a warm indoor manufacturing environment

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand English (for work orders BOMs and instructions)
• Reliability and consistent attendance are essential
• Must be comfortable working a 48-hour weekly schedule

Dress Code / PPE

Appropriate work attire is required for safety and professionalism:

Required:

• Shirts with sleeves (shoulders covered)
• Durable work pants
• Closed-toe work shoes suitable for standing and manufacturing environments

Not permitted:

• Shorts
• Sleeveless shirts
• Open-toed shoes
• Transparent or inappropriate clothing
• Ill-fitting or unsafe attire

Steel-toe shoes are not required.

This is a fast-paced production environment where training is provided quickly and performance is expected to ramp up efficiently. Reliability attention to detail and a strong work ethic are key to success in this role.
