Shop Support – Fabrication

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Assignment Type: Temporary
Pay Range: $18.90 – $20.00/hr (Depending on Experience)

Shop Support team member to assist with fabrication in a fabrication shop. This is a great opportunity for someone with entry-level manufacturing experience looking to gain hands-on exposure in a manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Wrap parts to support pressure test processes

• Provide general shop support across assembly fitting welding forming or machine operations

• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality

• Operate hand and power tools including die grinders polishers belt sanders and saws (training may be provided)

• Clean metal parts using a variety of methods (solvent washing chemical cleaning etc.)

• Follow written instructions safety guidelines and established procedures

• Measure and verify dimensions using calipers micrometers and height gauges

• Detect and report any faulty operations

• Maintain a clean safe and organized workspace

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shop support stocking or general labor preferred

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow safety protocols

• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with hand tools

• Basic math skills and the ability to read instructions or shop drawings

• Must be able to lift and move materials as needed

• Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses/face shield hearing protection and gloves

• May involve exposure to noise heat and industrial materials
